Video: Matt Williams talks roster, defense at the Winter Meetings

Matt Williams has yet to manage a game for the Nationals, but this much I know to be true: I love listening to the man talk. And yesterday, he did his talking in Orlando, Florida at the MLB Winter Meetings.

Again, he spoke of an increased in focus on defense -- specifically mentioning the implementation of defensive shifts throughout the organization. He also spoke of the winning components the team already has in place, the invitation he's extended to Davey Johnson to attend spring training, and more.

One other bulletpoint with regards to the team's newly acquired talent: he spoke very highly of Doug Fister and seems intent on getting Nate McLouth an ample amount of at-bats.
