According to a report from WTOP and the Associated Press, 38 men and women were in attendance at Nationals Park today to try out for a spot as one of the Racing Presidents for the 2014 season. The team will pick between 15 and 25 people as part of the five-president rotation.

Candidates were required to have an interview, demonstrate how they'd pose in the costume, and also perform their celebration dance. The presidential "roster" will be announced in a few weeks, and at that point we’ll know who will become the new residents of the Nationals’ oval office.
